Royal Navy Ship Visists Port Moresby

The EFM Port Moresby Shipping Vessel Operations Team recently supported the needs of the Royal Navy vessel HMS Tamar during its port call 29 June – 4 July. The team assisted with stores, water and provisions together with transport services in the capital. Included visiting medical institutions, football games with PNGDF and the Kokoda Trail. HMS Tamar is one of the Royal Navy’s river-class patrol vessels currently deployed to the Indo-Pacific waters together with HMS Spey, which was also handled by EFM in April 2022. Through the energy and dedication of our shipping team, the needs of the vessel during its maiden call to Port Moresby went well with our “Yes we can! “ attitude.
