Nason S. Martin

As a PNG national I have over a decade of experience in the logistics industry in both PNG and Australia in freight operations, sales management, and business development. Since 2022 I have been the Commercial Freight Manager at EFM Port Moresby, PNG, where I oversee our freight group, consisting of the International Sea Freight, International Air Freight, Shipping Agency, and Customs departments.
I aim to support our teams in working together effectively to meet company goals and provide dependable service to our clients. Building strong relationships with regional partners in Fiji, Solomon Islands, and Australia, as well as with local authorities like Customs and Quarantine, is key to ensuring our operations run smoothly and compliantly.
I am dedicated to fostering an environment where my team feels empowered to grow and excel. I focus on developing clear and consistent processes, managing our financial performance carefully, and identifying new opportunities that allow us to better serve our customers. I believe in the value of collaboration and continuous improvement to drive both individual and organizational success.
Outside of work, I have a strong interest in programming and software development, particularly in finding ways technology can enhance our operations and service delivery. I am always eager to learn and engage with others, whether through shared professional goals or personal interests beyond the workplace.
