Kevin Molen

I am EFM’s Regional Manager based in Brisbane, Australia and overseeing our Australian, Fijian and Solomon Island operations. I’ve been working in the logistics industry for over 35 years, starting as a Customs Officer with the New Customs Service before moving to roles with several international courier companies followed by positions with international freight forwarding companies covering imports, exports, air and ocean freight in NZ and Australia all in operational supervision and management roles.

My background includes project cargo shipments and associated management of complex logistics projects in both Australia and PNG as well as warehousing and domestic transport management. This also includes aircraft and vessel chartering experience.

My interest in humanitarian logistics led to a role with the United Nations working on the ground coordinating logistics in Pakistan after the 2005 earthquake there.

To supplement my logistics skills, I have had been involved in the implementation and management of LEAN and Continuous Improvement processes in the international freight, transport and warehousing industry in a number of locations around the world.

Aside from my passion for logistics, I enjoy most sports including participating in yacht racing and playing soccer.
