Josette Factora

Custom Clearance Manager

Graduated with a degree in Financial Management and  Master in Business Administration, I have accumulated diverse professional experiences locally and internationally. My career of over 20 years includes works in the academic sector in China, as well as operational audit projects in Malaysia, Vanuatu and Fiji. I have also been actively involved in various roles across Papua New Guinea that have encompassed multiple provinces, such as Rabaul, Goroka, Wewak, Madang, Mt Hagen, Lae, and Port Moresby.

As the leader of the team responsible for key clients and partners in our sea freight business, I ensure that we adhere to PNG’s legal requirements, company goals and industry quality standards while prioritizing the highest level of customer satisfaction. I manage sales operations and drive revenue growth by both strengthening relationships with existing clients and acquiring new customers from the market.

Drawing on my extensive background in Finance, Training & Development, Customer Service, and International Trade, I leverage my expertise to guide my team swiftly address and resolve all client concerns and inquiries. My experience in the South Pacific region has also equipped me to navigate local cultural subtleties effectively, enabling me to train and guide my team to deliver exceptional service. This approach ensures we maintain harmonious business relationships with Customs and Quarantine authorities while consistently meeting client expectations.

In my free time, I enjoy tackling books of word games and investigative documentaries. I also have a keen interest in home improvements and renovations, where I take pleasure in handling my own plumbing and carpentry projects.
