John Patrick Averilla

I am the Financial Controller at EFM PNG, providing leadership, strategic direction, and oversight of the company’s finance and administration functions. I am a CPA-qualified professional with active memberships with the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Certified Practicing Accountants of Papua New Guinea.

Prior to joining EFM PNG in October 2017, I worked with mid-tier and Big Four global accounting firms, gaining extensive experience in public accounting across the Philippines, Singapore, and Papua New Guinea. Outside of work, I enjoy playing basketball and maintaining a regular fitness routine, which I consider essential for sustaining both physical and mental well-being.
