Express Freight Commemorates PNG's 48th Independence Anniversary

EFM joined other business houses in PNG to commemorate the country’s 48th Independence Anniversary on Thursday 14 September by participating in a flag-raising and national anthem ceremony held at our Port Moresby and Lae offices. Staff and managers came in their splendid display of red, black, white and gold costumes and traditional attires. Lae Branch Manager George Savitski made a remarkable speech in “pidgin” about how incredible PNG is. Everyone celebrated with the true spirit of unity and looked forward to another Independence celebration.
