EFM Brisbane – Air Freighting Covid 19 Test Kits & PPE into the Pacific

As part of the Australian Government’s regional support to its Pacific neighbors, EFM Brisbane has been involved in the air freighting of Covid 19 test kits and personal protective equipment to a number of South Pacific nations.

To date, we have moved over 35 shipments from Australia. Irregular airline schedules and limited capacity have proven a challenge at times. Still, through our network of business contacts and the dedication of our team, we have been able to find a solution to get the freight to every destination. This has included flying cargo from Sydney to Fiji followed by our Nadi team. We also hand deliver several cartons of temperature controlled test kits to the Vessel’s Master in Suva in order to complete the second leg to Wallis and Futuna Islands by sea. It’s an honour to have been involved in such a project knowing that EFM has been trusted to provide such important support to the people of the South Pacific.
