A total of 15 EFM staff were endorsed as First Aiders after attending a day's training for First Aiders at our Head Office in Lae recently. The training facilitator Ms Sharon Wabiyawi from St John Ambulance PNG, held training on site, aim to maintain staff's first aid qualifications.  The training will also prepare staff as first respondents  in cases of emergencies in the workplace.  Staff were urged to put into practice what they have learnt and apply those skills where necessary. There are also plans to have regular refresher training for First Aids.
