Staff and Visitors participated in Fire Drill Exercise

As part of Fire Evacuation or Fire Emergency preparedness, EFM POM held a fire drill on Friday 14th July involving all staff, contractors and visitors on the premises. The aim was to test our response to such situations and how to safely evacuate a building and preparedness of fire wardens during evacuation awareness and staff preparedness during any emergency evacuation. We also simulated the evacuation of injured personnel; how to take care of injured or disabled persons during such times. We will be talking to External Emergency Services Providers as to how they can contribute to our drills in the future, as our location (and distance from Fire Services) will be a challenge in a real situation. The drill went well; in-house clients and contractors were happy with the response and outcome.
